FOOD SAFETY PROGRAM
The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Fairfield ISD Child Nutrition Department has implemented the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) food safety program as required by the Texas Department of Agriculture. We meet the highest food safety standards established by the State and local health department.
FOOD SAFETY CERTIFICATIONS
Each campus Child Nutrition Manager and Assistant Manager, as well as the CN Director are required to maintain their Texas Food Manager Certification. Other Child Nutrition staff, including substitutes, are required to maintain their Texas Food Handler Certification.
HEALTH INSPECTIONS
Kitchens are inspected twice each school year by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
